A healthy lifestyle helps children sleep better at night and has more energy to make them feel better mentally. It can also reduce depression.
  3. Healthy children are also socially beneficial. A physically active and healthy child usually has high self-esteem and will help him or her make friends easily. Children who participate in sports or other physical activities are more likely to make friends than those who sit in front of the television and computer.
  4. Healthy children are also more likely to benefit emotionally. They will have higher self-esteem because they will feel better about themselves physically. They will also have more confidence to socialize with other children.
  5. Finally, children who have a healthy lifestyle benefit academically. Children who eat properly, exercise regularly and get enough sleep have the physical and mental energy to meet the daily challenges of school. They are also able to learn their lessons better than children with unhealthy lifestyles.

These are just a few of the benefits that children with healthy lifestyles enjoy. It is important for parents and guardians to monitor and guide their children to live healthy lives. If they are not properly monitored, children will feel that they are suffering from serious health problems due to obesity. As they say, prevention is better than cure. This way, a healthy child will live better than a child who is not healthy.
